Quilts on display at Quilt in the Garden

There are many reasons I love attending quilt shows. As an online store I have the opportunity to meet and connect with my customers and get first hand feedback on our products. I also enjoy being part of the day’s vibrant energy and participating in the creative discussion.

But it is viewing the quilts on display that puts the finishing touch to attending a quilt show.

This past weekend’s show hosted by the Halton Quilters’ Guild was no exception. Called Quilt in the Garden of course — this makes perfect sense when it was taking place at the Royal Botanical Gardens in Burlington, Ontario. What a magnificent building – so perfectly suited for displaying craft and flora and fauna. This is my second time attending the Halton show – and the artistry and quality of the work done by the guild members astounds me again. I’ve posted just a small sampling of the quilts that were on display this past weekend. I hope you enjoy as much as I did.
