Just got a post from Linda Beeston, of Patchwork Quilts at Slave Lake. She’s received almost 500 quilts from across Canada — what an achievement!! To date, over 350 quilts have been handed out -but the initial success has spurred a desire for even more.

Linda is hoping to obtain a quilt for every man, woman and child in Slave lake. There were 732 families in Slave lake that lost everything. We’re looking for one quilt per household and one quilt per child — 800 to 1000 children.

Families and registering with Linda at her store. Those who want to help should contact Linda at patchworkfabrics@gmail.com or phone the store at 780-849-6464.
